02What we collect
Through the request form or by email, only what you choose to give us:
- your name and work email address;
- your company’s name;
- your phone number and delivery province, if you give them;
- the products, quantities and message you write to us.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records the technical data needed to deliver and protect the pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request.
We collect no payment information. The site is meant for professionals and does not knowingly collect information about minors.
03Why we use it
- to answer your request and prepare a quote;
- to follow up on your order and our business relationship;
- to keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your information, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
04Consent and your choices
By sending a request, you consent to the use of your information for these purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us; we then stop using your information, except where the law requires us to keep it.

06Who has access
Within NorthMed Foods, only the people who handle requests and orders have access to your information.
We rely on service providers to host the site and deliver the form’s messages. They act on our behalf under a written agreement, receive only what they need and may not use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
07Information processed outside Québec
Some of our service providers, such as our hosting and email delivery providers, may process information outside Québec, including in the United States. Before entrusting them with it, we assess the privacy impact and make sure the information is adequately protected, as Québec law requires.
08How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for these purposes. Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than three years after our last exchange; information tied to an order is kept for the period the law requires. It is then destroyed or anonymised.

12Questions and complaints
For any question or complaint about how we handle your information, write to the person in charge at contact@northmedfood.com. We will look into it and answer you in writing.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
